The aim of this session is to introduce researchers about funding opportunities offered by the ERC-European Research Council and help them to prepare a successful proposal.

The section will be structured in two parts. In the first part, a general introduction of the ERC and ERCEA will be presented. This part will cover the news, funding schemes and opportunities within individual call. Special emphasis will be devoted to 2025-2026 updates and novelties, and upcoming changes for the next work programme.

The second part of the section will focus more on details of the existing ERC calls with step-by-step tips, resources, and tricks to prepare a proposal submission. The session can be of interest for researchers with different scientific backgrounds at any career stage and from anywhere in the world.
