Workshop Women in STEM: Nanotech and Green Energy

After a successful first edition of Workshop Women in Nanotechnology during NanoBalkan 2024, Albanian Women in Nanotechnology – AWIN in collaboration with NanoAlb, University of Tirana, Albania, University of Prishtina, Kosovo, Albanian Academy of Science and Phantom organization are the promoter and co-organiser of the workshop second edition entitled "Nanotech and Green Energy". The main purpose of our collaboration is to connect Women from Albania and abroad in the field of STEM and discuss the latest trends on Nanotechnology and exploit the future possibilities Nanotech can bring to empower Women and their career growth and inspire the Young generation in STEM.
In particular, this workshop is aiming to gather more than 50 participants, which address technical and scientific work related to Green Energy: solar, wind, biofuels, hydro, batteries, recycling, etc with participants from all level of expertise: Academia, Research and Industry and from all levels of career: from students to Co-Founders and CEOs.
The agenda is composed of great experts in the field of Green Energy, invited speakers and a panel discussion to further discuss the role of Women; impact of technology in our everyday life and environment; understand what are the right conduct and policies for a Greener and more sustainable future
