The 4th edition of the nanoBalkan International Conference (NB2026) is being launched following the overwhelming success of the last 5 events organised in Albania i.e. TNT2021, TNT nanoBalkan2022, nanoBalkan2023, nanoBalkan2024 and nanoBalkan2025.
This new high-level scientific meeting aims to present a broad range of current research in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology as well as related policies and initiatives such as NANOBALKAN, the Regional Centre of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.
The nanoBalkan2026 structure will keep the fundamental features of the previous events organised in Albania 4 years in a row, providing a unique opportunity for broad interaction in various areas of nanoscience and nanotechnologies including 2D Materials, machine learning and artificial inteligence.
On the occasion of nanoBalkan2026 several specific sessions or workshops on hot topics will be organised: collaborative workshops Albania-Japan-Spain on nanotechnology & Albania-Italy-Spain on nanomedicine, School on Nanobiosensors. nanoBalkan will also include dedicated workshop on nanotechnology applications in genetics, raw materials with interest for the region and more.
